For 40 years, Rick has specialized in the Construction and Restoration Industry, including property management and maintenance. He has overseen the construction and maintenance of countless commercial and residential buildings, including managing large-scale mould mitigation and flood-related restoration projects.

As a Metis entrepreneur, Rick maintains strong relationships with indigenous communities throughout Manitoba. He has overseen the construction of individual homes and community buildings in First Nations communities for more than 15 years. His relationships with indigenous peoples in the province have provided Rick with an understanding of First Nations culture and the unique needs of community members.

His education and training include the successful completion of Red River College’s Construction Management program, along with various training and certifications through the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
